Yumbolt Lava Cake

Yumbolt 47 (Yumbolt x AK47) X Lava Cake (Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies x Grape Pie). Yumbolt 47 is a cross between Yumbolt, a stoney Afghani Indica transplanted to Humboldt County, and AK 47, consisting of Colombian/Mexican/Thai Sativas crossed with another Afghani Indica. The original Yumbolt 47 we grew was a rangy plant with long internodes and sparse leaves that did well in high temperatures and/or high humidity. It produced pale green, long, hard, smallish buds that made up for their size by their density. It also had a unique sandalwood incense type aroma.

These Yumbolt 47 traits are dominant in our Yumbolt Lava Cake cross but with the purple highlights and somewhat fuller buds found in Lava Cake. Already a potent strain, the Yumbolt 47 strain is supercharged by its cross with Lava Cake. Although some of the plants grown out of this first-generation cross have the stoney/trippy laid-back attributes of the original Yumbolt, most of the plants produced the euphoric, energizing, and creative high more often associated with Sativa strains. This strain can do well indoors, but thrives in outdoor and greenhouse environments.

Strain Type: Hybrid (Indica dominant genetically, but grows and effects are more Sativa-like).
